If your dream goes beyond owning a single location, then our Area Developer program may be just what you are looking for. Westshore Pizza’s Area Developer Program is modeled after many other successful franchises including Firehouse Subs, Quiznos and The UPS Store. The Area Developer is our partner in developing an agreed upon region, that will support a minimum of thirty Westshore Pizza’s.
The Area Developer receives a portion of the franchise fees and royalties for the stores in their territory and in turn the Area Developer is responsible for selling the franchises and supporting the locations in their territory.
Here’s how it works.
- You select the market that you want to develop
- A preliminary analysis is performed to determine how many Westshore Pizzas the territory will support. Each territory must be able to support a minimum of 30 locations.
- A schedule is agreed upon for opening the stores in the territory (typically this is seven years)
- You purchase the rights to develop your territory
- The Area Developer operates a store in the territory that is used as his discovery store
- The Area Developer markets and sells franchises in his territory
- The Area Developer supports the franchisees in his territory
Area Developers Earn Money in Three Ways
- You operate the flagship store in your territory
- 2.25% of the sales in your territory (50% of the royalties)
- $14,500 from each franchise you sell (50% of the franchise fee for each franchise you sell in your territory)
Your Investment
- Open the flagship store in your territory ($95,000 to $245,000)
- Purchase the Area Developer rights for $2,950 per store with a minimum of 30 stores ($88,500+)
- Total investment as low as $183,500
The best news is that in many cases, our area developers can open their store and purchase the Area Developer rights for the territory for less money than opening a single location with our competitors.

Each Area Developer receives an in depth analysis of their territory that targets potential locations, provides demographic information and rates the locations, so the Area Developer has expertise when working with potential franchisees.
